MY BOOM: Motorcycles!! I have fond memories of going for rides on the back of my dad's kawasaki. Flash foward and I developed a love for all things bousouzoku. I was always wanting a boyfriend to ride on the back with, but I am unlucky in love and I suddenly realised one day that wtf I should just skip the middle man and get a bike myself!
Will be taking my mid engined license in aug, and saving for a customised yamaha majesty grand.
So if you want to hear about bike talk and Japanese bike culture, just ask to be put on my bike filter. You are spared if you don't. ;)

Currently living in Osaka with no intention to go home. The closest thing I had to a child hood home was in London, but that's been sold, so really there's nothing to return back to. So I intend to make Osaka my furisato, and don't intent to return back to London. Besides I have two turtles called Michelangelo and Donatello to look after, and they will probably outlive me.
I like guys. Particually gyaru otoko, hosts, and johnny boys. And I think kansai guys are the hottest in Japan, they're vain and Osaka-ben is just so damn cool!
I graduated with a decent grade from the School of Oriental and African Studies with a BA in Japanese studies. I've done such things as study Japanese cinema, modern literature, classical language and literature, and art and archetecture. I spent a year living in Tokyo at Ochanomizu Women's University. I want to continue a career in accademia, specialising in Japanese Media because I want to make undergraduates cry, some say I'm just going in with the wrong attitude but someone's gotta do it.
Guess a majour infulence on my life has been visual kei. I've been listening to it since 2001 and I feel like I've been around the block now. I've become bitter and nhilistic in my old age. I can't be bothered to pretend to like all the crap that's out there, so I like the few (select) bands I like but I love them to death. Bands I went back to Japan for are Kagrra, Dir en grey, Metronome, Floppy, Sex-Android, Miyavi (off the top of my head). But the gaijin fan scene irritates the hell out of me so I only go now and again now.
So if you can put up with my bitching about people then you're free to add me. I may only infrequently comment on your journal, but that's because I don't have anything intersting to say and don't want to bore you.
I've been doing a jrock podcast since November 2005, I strive to be a more 'mature' podcast than the annoying wapanese shit out there.
